Breeding

The key to good horses, is good breeding. By chosing the right parents to start your line, and by breeding up your generations, your line will become Strong and formitable.

1. The stats:
• Value: 1-4
• Value: 5-8
• Value: 9-12
• Value: 13-16
2. The Types:
• Speed: The horse has relatively high speed
• Stamina: Whip effect is the lowest, but good for long distances races
• Sharp: Highest whip effect, horse tires faster, uses the most stamina
3. The Characters: (can see by pressing hold in the farm scene)
• Imposing: standing up
• Rough: kicking up
• Honest: shaking it's body
• Coward: getting startled
• Sloppy: falling asleep
4. Special Abilities:
• Soft Track: must breed with the computer to increase soft track abilities
• Heavy Track: must breed with computer horses that don't care about track condition to increase this ability
• Dirt Track: must breed with the computer to increase dirt track abilities
5. Figuring your horses stats:
• The Foles stats are an average of the parents stats
• (sire + dam)/2 round down
6. Breeding Your Horses:
• Once you have retired your horse, you can breed with it
• There are limits to the number of times you can breed, before the stats decline
• 8-12 Females
• 12-16 Males
• For best horses increase your generations
• Inbreed with your own horses to sustain the stats
